About Mystical Moments Photography
When putting together my site, I wanted visitors to be able to explore several different genres of photography including Landscapes, Fine Art, Flowers, Black & White, and Graffiti.
The old adage that if you take 100 photographs, only one will be useable is probably more true than you would expect. I have taken thousands and thousands of pictures from all around the world but have narrowed down my collection based on what photographs I thought were good enough for hanging on a wall or included in a book. I have currently released a book for sale entitled Montreal Memories.
Over the years, I have experimented with many different genres of photography. All of them were interesting and I learned a lot about composition, lighting and exposure. What I learned the most though was about me and what I was really interested in. . Although I will never be an Ansel Adams, his quote mentioned above has been a guiding light for me and hopefully it shows in my work.
I have included below, a few comments that my followers have made:
“Ken Gordon is a truly gifted and prolific photographer that magically encaptures the beauty of our world around us with his exquisite art form. Ken’s additional historical and descriptive explanations of his beautiful photographs raise his art to another fascinating level for all to enjoy.” Cheryl
“So serene. You captured the mood beautifully.” Kathy
“Such a beautiful photo, Ken! My favourite spot in Montreal! I love the historical WW1 tribute of the lovely Montreal Clock Tower, as well as your lovely composition of our Montreal icons! Gorgeous!” Cheryl
“Fantastic shot again.” Bob

I still want to get a copy of your book when you told me about it at the Grand.” Sandra
I have always thought that the Clarity and Definition of Black & White Photography are what Ansel Adams was trying to teach us back in the 1920s & 30s. Well Done My Friend.” Harold
“Exquisite. Simply exquisite. The translucencies, colours, transparencies, reflections, perspective….my apologies for gushing. My kind of moment.” Marilyn
“Beautiful! Thank you for sharing the precious moment. May I share your photos? I would, of course, cite my source. I would love some ex-pat Montreal friends to see them. Next best thing to being here!” Marilyn
